Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Construction Procurement Lead to oversee the sourcing, purchasing, and management of electrical materials for construction projects. This role ensures that electrical components are acquired at optimal pricing, quality, and timing, supporting project efficiency and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and procure electrical materials such as wiring, switchgear, transformers, lighting, control systems, and safety equipment.
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to optimize cost-effectiveness.
  • Process purchase orders and track inventory levels to meet project needs.
  • Collaborate with project management teams to align procurement with construction schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements.
  • Research market trends and evaluate new materials or suppliers to enhance procurement strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of procurement experience in electrical contracting or electrical supply required.
  • Strong understanding of electrical materials, equipment, and supplier networks.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
